This concept of gravity is so useful!! I think a lot about "creative universes" and, not to kill the metaphor lol, but after reading this, I immediately started thinking about how those two concepts are related. What are the rules, myths, laws, principles we follow in those universes? I do believe those add up to (what you're incisively calling) *gravity*. Gravity feels like a direct consequence of establishing a world.
I'm also fully subscribed to your exploration of how energy affects gravity. As a one woman show (and mom and basic human in 2025), my energy threshold makes/breaks every project. It's so helpful to visualize the energy of these different creators you laid out and assess my own.
Thanks for all the thoughtfulness and intention with this series. Will be reading all the rest! xx
Wowowowow thank you for such an insightful comment Courtney! Totally agree with you — there is an element of someone’s “universe” which brings up the question — what needs to be in there, for us to fall into their galaxy?
Thank you so much for reading and I hope you find the other editions helpful!
Thank you Alice for highlighting gravity in a different way. it got my thinking about my own disposition. I love the concept of brain vitamins. This piece is definitely a high quality supplements.
I really loved your post, Alice! We share so many similar values, and it’s great to see others highlighting those human energies that build connection and attraction in the creator world. Framing it around the theme of gravity is such a creative and memorable touch. Congrats, and I’ll definitely keep following your posts!
The process immensely becomes easier when we make a note of creators who have pulled us in already. Especially those in our fields. Make a list of them, and see what pulled you in…in the first place! That gives us such an inspiration of what our values are!
Such a smart point! Yes couldn't agree more–the point of being in someone's orbit too is that you *want* to be there...the sooner you can figure out what someone else did to get your active participation–so you can then imitate them–the stronger of a brand you'll have
All around excellence here. All boils down to being super-helpful, in a healthy way, around a topic you care bucket-loads about.
Yesss that’s exactly it Joe 🙏🏼 Ty!
Ummm WOW. This is one of the best pieces I've read on substack. So so good. Thank you!
Thank YOU! 🫶🏼✨

Holy crap, SEVENTY FOUR gigabytes daily?? That stat used up all my bandwidth for the day 🫠 Incredible, really puts things in perspective
I know right? I first learned this like 3 years ago and it’s stuck with me ever since…so wild
Alice, this was a great read. It feels like this platform really suits your voice and I got a ton out of this post!
Ah that makes me so happy to hear! Thanks Drew
This was a hefty serving of vitamins. Thank you! 👏🏼
Thank you so much Kolina!

Once again, another banger that I will review periodically. When's the book coming out??
Bravo! 👏 🤌
Thank you Janis!
I think this ideas is right one point. Gravity over virality any day. By all means, keep fleshing it out.
Thank you for the words of encouragement :)

This is such a kind comment! Thank you so much Andi. (And yes that energy is everything!)
If I can add one more point above this (🙈🙈)…

Wholeheartedly agree. Never had it explained to me this clearly but this is what I naturally figured out by following my heart. Thank you!
Thank you so much for reading, Robin!
Thank you, Alice, for posting these. Mucho bless
I feel like 90% of content by content creators are for the lowest common denominator; posting what gets likes rather than what you love.
Read this one after reading part 2. Great to read your idea of gravity in a bit more detail.
(ps. I'm sure you're planning to do so but maybe worthwhile to link part 2 of the series to the bottom of this post).
Just did that–thank you for the reminder Ben! And thank you for reading–hopefully you found it useful!
